The company Recently formed

New company, experienced ownership

Bridgeway Trade Services is a recently formed company. Its ownership brings more than ten years of industry experience.

Those are two separate facts and we keep them separate. The business is new. The people running it are not, and the work they have done is what the company is built on.

What we do

Two things, weighted equally. We supply construction materials, and we place consultant personnel for safety, quality and construction management. Both run under one New York State SDVOB certification, which means a contractor can source physical and human capital from a single certified vendor.

Who we work for

New York City agencies, New York State agencies, and private commercial projects. The two sides of the business are used differently depending on who is asking: a prime on a state contract is usually solving for a participation goal as well as for price, while a private owner is solving for price and schedule alone. The documentation standard does not change between them.

We work across the New York City metropolitan area and Long Island. That is the whole territory, not a corner of a statewide map.

Track record MTA C&D

Currently on the job

Bridgeway is supporting three active MTA Construction & Development projects, with a combined value of approximately $2.5 million.

That is the current state of the work. It is not a portfolio, and we are not going to present it as one.

Ownership 100% veteran owned

Veteran ownership

Bridgeway is owned and operated by John Panicola. New York State SDVOB certification requires at least 51% ownership by a service-disabled veteran with a VA service-connected disability rating of 10% or more, and requires that the veteran owner independently controls day-to-day decisions.

It is issued by the state rather than claimed by the business, which is exactly why it carries weight with a procurement officer.
